SRPP advised IRPC-CP regarding the EPC of the 70 MW Combined Heat and Power Plant Project

SRPP represented IRPC Clean Power Company Limited (IRPC-CP) in the selection of engineering, procurement, and commission (EPC) contractors for the Combined Heat and Power III 70 MW Cogeneration Combined Cycle Power Plant Project. Jurong Engineering Limited (JEL) and Thai Jurong Engineering Limited (TJEL) were the offshore and onshore EPC contracting parties, respectively.

As legal counsel, we assisted in drafting, negotiating evaluating, modifying, and concluding the EPC contract in relation to the project. In addition, our duties included assessing legal concerns in order to mitigate legal risks stemming from such agreements and ensuring the seamless implementation of such agreements.

IRPC-CP is a subsidiary of IRPC Public Company Limited, Rayong-based petroleum and petrochemical company listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. IRPC is part of PTT Group and consists of three primary production lines: oil refinery, lube base oil refinery, and petrochemical plant group.

The transaction was led by Panuwat Chalongkuamdee (Founding Partner), Natira Siripun (Counsel), and Krisakorn Thongprasert (Associate).
