SRPP, a leading law firm in Thailand, has advised Fujitsu Limited, a global information and communication technology company, on its acquisition of International Computer Services (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (ICS), a prominent SAP consulting service provider in Thailand. The deal, which was announced on 4 September 2023, will enable Fujitsu to strengthen its SAP capabilities and expand its customer base in the country.
ICS stands out as a prominent provider of SAP system consulting services in the Thai market. The spectrum of consulting services offered by ICS encompasses a wide range, including expertise in ERP, HRMS, SCM, Data Warehouse, and application system development. Their portfolio extends to the creation of IT Master Plans, the formulation of project specifications (TOR), and the implementation of Enterprise Applications.
Fujitsu, a global technology and business solutions powerhouse, and Fujitsu Thailand assumed the role of the acquirer in this significant transaction. With a global presence in technology services, consulting, system design and development, network architecture, help desk support, training, and comprehensive IT solutions and services, Fujitsu is a recognized leader in the field. Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, the company boasts a workforce of approximately 130,000 employees, catering to customers in 180 countries, including Thailand.
This strategic acquisition not only showcases Fujitsu's commitment to expanding its foothold in the Thai market but also underscores the value and expertise that ICS brings to the table as a leading SAP system consultant in the region.
