SRPP is pleased to have advised IRPC Public Company Limited in connection with the divestment of its entire 40% shareholding in WHA Industrial Estate Rayong Co., Ltd. (“WHAIER”) to WHA Industrial Development Public Company Limited (“WHAID”).
The transaction, with a total value of approximately THB 896 million, forms part of IRPC’s strategy to streamline its investment portfolio and enhance operational efficiency within the group.
IRPC Public Company Limited, listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (“SET: IRPC”), is one of Thailand’s leading integrated petrochemical and refining companies. The company operates a fully integrated petrochemical complex covering petroleum refining, petrochemical production, as well as port and utilities infrastructure. IRPC plays a significant role in Thailand’s energy and petrochemical industries, supplying a wide range of petroleum and petrochemical products to both domestic and international markets.
WHA Industrial Estate Rayong Co., Ltd. (“WHAIER”) engages in the development and management of industrial estates in Thailand. The company provides industrial land, infrastructure, and related utilities to support manufacturing and logistics businesses, particularly within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC), one of Thailand’s key industrial and investment hubs.
WHA Industrial Development Public Company Limited, listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (“SET: WHAID”), is a leading developer of industrial estates and logistics infrastructure in Thailand. As part of the WHA Group, the company focuses on industrial land development, utilities, and integrated infrastructure solutions to support domestic and international investors establishing manufacturing and logistics operations in Thailand.
SRPP acted as legal counsel to IRPC in connection with the transaction.
