We are delighted to announce that Mr. Fariz Abdul Aziz, Partner of Skrine, will be joining us as a guest speaker for this session.

Fariz is a corporate transactional lawyer based in Kuala Lumpur with Skrine. Fariz focuses his practice on the energy sector but beyond this has a wide ranging practice covering private equity, funds, financial institutions and infrastructure projects. Fariz heads the oil & gas team in Skrine as well as co-heads both the Energy and Maritime practice groups. During the course of his career, he has been recognised by all major legal publications for his work in both Corporate/M&A and Energy such as Chambers, Legal500, Lexology, IFLR and AsiaLaw often as a leading lawyer. Fariz was also named as Lawyer of the Year (Malaysia) by AsiaLaw in 2020. Beyond legal practice, Fariz was an adjunct lecturer at Petronas Technology University and is a frequent speaker at international energy conferences.
