As part of our ongoing commitment to client education and international collaboration, SRPP proudly hosted a complimentary seminar on October 27, 2025, titled “Trends, Nuances, and Updates on Investing and Doing Business in Malaysia under the Madani Government.” Held at our office, the event reflected SRPP’s dedication to fostering knowledge-sharing opportunities for both clients and team members.
In a strategic move to broaden our cross-border insights, we welcomed esteemed guest speaker Mr. Fariz Abdul Aziz, a highly regarded partner from Skrine, one of Malaysia’s premier law firms and a long-standing SRPP partner. He shared his expert perspectives on the Malaysian investment landscape, offering attendees valuable guidance on navigating the evolving business environment under the current administration.
About the Speaker:
Mr. Fariz Abdul Aziz is an award-winning partner at Skrine, specializing in energy, M&A, corporate transactions, and maritime law. A graduate of King’s College London, he brings over a decade of experience advising global clients such as BP, Murphy Oil, PTT, Zurich General, and Hope Education. His career includes a tenure with Malaysia’s Prime Minister’s Performance Management & Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), and he has lectured at Petronas Technology University. He is a frequent speaker at international energy forums and has been consistently recognized by leading legal directories including Chambers, Legal500, and AsiaLaw, which named him Lawyer of the Year (Malaysia) in 2020.
The seminar explored key topics such as Malaysia’s investment climate, cross-border opportunities, and the impact of geopolitical and domestic developments. It served as a platform for meaningful dialogue, knowledge exchange, and relationship-building among participants.
