On November 5 and 6, 2022, Law Chula Alumni held the conference "M&A in Practice: Law Chula Alumni Speakers Sharing Knowledge & Experience" at the Amari Watergate Bangkok Hotel. Our two founding partners, Ms. Passawan Navanithikul and Mr. Panuwat Chalongkuamdee, were among the most notable M&A specialists in the local legal business who were featured at the two-day event. The conference drew about 150 participants, including private practitioners, in-house counsel, investment bankers, and others with an interest in the issue.
At the seminar, Mr. Panuwat addressed M&A from Kick Off to Closing; Legal Due Diligence, and Key Issues in Share Purchase (Subscription) Agreement & Disclosure, while Ms. Passawan discussed Acquisition Finance and other pertinent and fascinating topics.
On the occasion of Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Law's 50th anniversary, a seminar with alumni speakers from five country's most famous legal firms was held. The conference's goal was to promote understanding and awareness of M&A and related legal concerns such as antitrust, labor law, and taxation.
SRPP is grateful for the chance to give back to the M&A community and is honored to have been invited to do so.
